Intelligent Design
Intelligent Design - a threat to science teaching
Most scientists who are religious look for God in what science does understand and has explained. So the way in which my view is different from the creationists or intelligent design proponents is that I find knowledge a compelling reason to believe in God. They find ignorance a compelling reason to believe in God.
Kenneth R. Miller

Dembski on Intelligent Design - Read especially the last few pages. Specified information seems a legitimate concept, but is it scientifically useful? To become scientific it must be experimentally tested and provide useful insights. "Complex specified information " is poorly defined and clearly not a scientific concept. The " Law of conservation of information" is a hypothesis contradicted by existing data (e.g. the immune system).
