UPCO Annual meeting with speakers at Huntington School.
Easter Egg Hunt with over 300 kids (easter bunny,candy,prizes)
Supported the University Place Business Art Festival.
Supported Whitehall Mansion Activites
Helped save the Uni Place Post Office (for now).
Historic walking tour by Ed Zimmer - Wesleyan/Creighton residential district
16 Wednesday Farmers Markets from June 10 to Sept 16. (12-16 vendors)
Adopted Dead Man's Run stream. Did Spring and fall cleanups
Monitored/attended Councilman Doug Emery/Cyndi Lamm monthly meetings
Monitored/attended the monthly Mayors Neighborhood Roundtable meetings
House and Yard of the Month signs and Facebook posting
Established membership email base
Did a membership letter drive and increased paid membership from around 25 to around 95
Updated and used UPCO Facebook page and UPCO Webpage
Worked in support of new Shopping Center owner. Sent letter to Corporate Hy Vee in support of redevelopment
Met with Nebraska Weslyan University on Campus growth and expansion. Expressed opposition to the proposed closure of 50th street.
Met with consultant engineer on the Adams/33/Cornhusker and RR project design.
Monitoring Dead Mans Run Flood Plain project to reduce neighborhood floodplain.
