Star Office - cryptic code problem
My wife was typing a series of stars across her document to divide sections when this annoying double line appeared. The cursor can't pass through the couble line. With the cursor at the end of the text pressing "enter" inserts additional double lines (as shown). I can ressurect the text by cutting and pasting into a fresh document, but if I cut and paste the last text line, the annoying double line comes along with it (the cryptic code appears to be embedded in the last line of text.) Question - what is the code and how can I delete it?
I have a diagnosis for you...
Move your cursor directly above the double line.
Select | Format | Paragraph | Borders |
You will see you have selected a 7.5 pt double line as a bottom paragraph border.
Change that to "none" and you're good to go.
