Secular antiscience advocates
Secular antiscience advocatesAs Kitzmiller v. Dover showed, the intelligent design movement was crafted primarily by religious fundamentalists and orchestrated by the Discovery Institute (cdesign proponentsists.) Nonetheless the movement has attracted those w/o religious motives who are perhaps hostile to science or who find intelligent design fits preconceptions better than evolution. Michael Behe is a special case. He was enlightened by a vision of "irreducible complexity" and found the intelligent design crowd a receptive audience.
