Responsible Journalism
The World Herald, like many newspapers tries to balance public comments. This is generally admirable. However, where one side of a story is science (evolution, evidence based medicine) and the other side is pseudoscience (creationism, rumor based medicine, etc.) balance is detrimental to society. What sells newspapers isn't necessarily responsible journalism. Journalists need to recognize expert opinion and to present the public with quality evidence to encourage making of quality decisions.
